Event Details

Come Celebrate Community First.

The honor of your presence is requested at the annual Community First Fund Friends of the Fund celebration.

 

Networking and Registration:  11:00 - 12:00 pm

Program and Luncheon:  12:00 - 2:00 pm

 

This year,  Community First Fund will highlight recent accomplishments by featuring some of our most successful clients and dedicated advocates.  Friends of the Fund will be held November 4, 2011with networking beginning at 11:00 AM and the event starting at noon, at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.  Our keynote speaker is Robert Egger, the Founder and President of the DC Central Kitchen, the nation's first "community kitchen," where unemployed men and women learn marketable culinary skills while donated food is converted into balanced meals. Since opening in 1989, the DCCK has distributed over 20 million meals and helped 700 men and women gain full-time employment.

 

Master of Ceremonies is David Schankweiler, CEO and Publisher of the Central Penn Business Journal.

exit and follow directions for "Historic Lancaster.
Fruitville Pike will become N Prince St. Proceed south on N Prince St to King St; left on King St.
